Description

A reputable, long-standing local company with a substantial workforce and modern workplace amenities is seeking a proactive HR Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of human resources, with an emphasis on talent acquisition, development, and retention, as well as the ongoing improvement of HR processes. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, effective problem-solver, and collaborative team member dedicated to creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Direct and manage the full scope of HR functions, with the support of an HR executive. - Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from initial onboarding to employee departures, encompassing talent sourcing, selection, and retention strategies. - Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and repatriation processes for foreign employees. - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current regulations and compliance requirements from relevant governing bodies and assess the impact of regulatory changes on workplace practices. - Continuously enhance and refine HR functions, processes, and procedures, while also ensuring compliance with audit requirements. - Manage the organization's group health insurance plan and administer insurance claims. - Source and manage appropriate employee training programs and handle applications for training grants. - Oversee employee relations and well-being initiatives and monitor relevant external factors. - Manage all mandatory HR surveys and reporting requirements. - Organize employee social events and team-building activities. - Undertake any other related tasks as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management is preferred. - A minimum of three years of relevant managerial experience; regional or international experience is considered a plus. - Strong personal attributes, including high ethical standards, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive and practical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. - Proficiency in standard office productivity software.
