The Changing Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of changing rooms, restrooms, and related facilities within the hotel or resort. This role involves regularly cleaning and restocking supplies, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained for guest use. The Changing Room Attendant may also assist guests by addressing inquiries and providing necessary amenities, contributing to a positive and welcoming environment. Responsibilities and Duties
* Maintain a polite demeanor and greet Members and Guests at all times. * Ensure the overall cleanliness of restrooms, shower rooms, lockers, children's washrooms, and handicap toilets, including cleaning toilets and shower cubicles. * Keep a record of locker keys, cards, towels, and toiletries issued and returned by members. * Remain physically present within the Changing Room premises at all times and inform the Senior Attendant or Housekeeping Supervisor before signing off at the end of each shift. * Conduct regular inspections to ensure all lockers are properly maintained and in good working condition. * Ensure towels are clean, in good condition, neatly folded, and issued to members upon request. * Compile all soiled towels and send them for washing while ensuring clean towels are stocked at the required levels. * Monitor supplies of other amenities, such as combs, powder, hair gels, and cotton buds, keeping them at appropriate levels and informing the Housekeeping Supervisor when replenishment is needed. * Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety both inside and outside the Changing Room premises. * Ensure Members and Guests sign in and out as required. * Issue locker keys/cards and towels to Members and/or Guests upon request. * Report any breakdowns or defects to the Housekeeping Supervisor. * Stay informed about the Club’s ongoing activities, events, and promotions, ensuring full support and participation for their success. * Assist in gathering feedback and comments from Members or Guests regularly. * Record and report any Lost & Found items, submitting them along with the report to the Housekeeping Office for safekeeping. * Perform any other related duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeper, Facilities Manager, or Director of Corporate Services.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous experience in a housekeeping or customer service role, preferably within a hospitality environment. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Capacity to maintain cleanliness in changing rooms and restrooms, which may involve * Understanding of health and safety regulations related to the maintenance of changing
