Description
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to quality assurance expectations and standards, ensuring a positive guest experience. You will anticipate and address guest service needs, providing genuine appreciation for their visit. Additionally, you will assist the housekeeping team with the timely pick-up and delivery of guest requests, ensuring efficiency and satisfaction. You will also support the pool and fitness center operations as needed, contributing to the smooth functioning of these areas and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your role will require attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Guest Services: Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service. Assist with guest amenities, such as extra beds, cribs, and towels. Handle guest laundry and perform basic cleaning tasks in guest rooms. * Housekeeping Support: Assist housekeeping team with duties, including replenishing cleaning supplies and maintaining cleanliness in common areas like the pool and fitness center. Ensure work areas are stocked and organized. * Maintenance & Inventory: Monitor and report maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department. Conduct routine checks of linens, supplies, and equipment. Record guest loan items and maintenance tasks accurately. * Guest Relations: Engage with guests professionally, maintaining positive interactions and providing assistance to individuals with disabilities. Ensure a pleasant departure for guests by offering appreciation and assistance as needed. * Communication & Teamwork: Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, maintaining a positive and respectful work environment. Collaborate with other departments to achieve guest satisfaction and operational goals. * Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, report accidents or injuries, and follow proper safety protocols. Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and ensure the safe use of equipment and cleaning supplies. * General Duties: Follow company policies, maintain professionalism, and participate in team activities and meetings. Contribute to the continuous improvement of housekeeping services and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 'O' level education. * At least 1 year of relevant experience in handling Housekeeping runner duties and pool area maintenance. * Excellent customer service skills. * Strong team player. * Able to start work with short notice.
