Description
Support the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas. Supervise and train the Housekeeping Team, manage inventories, and ensure cost control. Oversee pest control, landscaping, and proper stock management of supplies and assets. Conduct regular inspections, ensure equipment is well-maintained, and address repairs promptly. Perform tasks or shifts as assigned by management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining and inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. Supervise and train Housekeeping Team Leaders on tasks, schedules, and routines. Monitor and manage department inventories, ensuring adequate par stock levels for equipment and linens while controlling costs. Support the implementation of an effective pest control system, promptly addressing any pest issues within the hotel. Safeguard hotel assets, including guest supplies, stores, linens, uniforms, and other equipment. Oversee gardening, landscaping, and floral arrangement operations within the property. Set and maintain par levels for cleaning supplies and guest amenities, ensuring proper stock control and movement. Conduct regular inspections of housekeeping operations, verify VIP room readiness, and develop action plans to enhance service excellence. Ensure all operating equipment is in optimal condition, promptly addressing any maintenance or repair needs. Perform additional tasks or shifts as directed by management or the Executive Housekeeper.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a 5-star hotel. Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management. Strong customer-centric approach. Highly adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment. Willingness to work rotating day shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Ability to thrive under pressure and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
