Description

The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for managing all calls and communication within the department, ensuring proper recording and follow-up of requests. Key duties include transmitting FCS requests, assisting with administrative tasks, updating and filing documents, and maintaining records related to daily housekeeping operations. The role involves collaborating with the maintenance team to address room maintenance issues and track repairs. Additionally, the coordinator manages storage areas, monitors stock levels, conducts stock takes, and assists with training within the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities and Duties

Handle and coordinate all incoming calls within the Housekeeping department, ensuring accurate recording and follow-up. Relay relevant information to housekeeping staff efficiently. Submit FCS requests via BPN and VServe systems. Provide administrative support to the Housekeeping department. Update and organize documents for proper filing. Collaborate with the maintenance team to track and resolve room maintenance issues, ensuring repairs are followed up. Maintain daily operational records for Housekeeping activities. Oversee the management of storage areas and ensure stock levels are maintained. Conduct stock takes as required and ensure accurate inventory management. Assist with the coordination and delivery of Housekeeping department training.

Qualifications and Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in administration and coordination. Proficient in using Opera PMS (Property Management System). Experience with BPN and PowerPoint Presentation software. Strong data analysis skills preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication skills for coordinating with various teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with handling administrative duties and documentation.
