Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to lead and guide a team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for developing talent, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Achieve department goals by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes. * Build and maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, and providing opportunities for professional development. * Enhance staff performance by providing coaching, guidance, and addressing any disciplinary issues as needed. * Plan, monitor, and evaluate employee performance and job results. * Conduct training sessions to improve staff skills and knowledge. * Implement and enforce established systems, policies, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. * Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organizational standards and adhering to legal regulations. * Manage daily operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operational issues, maintaining reference materials, and implementing new procedures. * Control expenses by compiling and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, tracking variances, and implementing corrective actions. * Ensure the delivery of high-quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards. * Contribute to overall team success by accomplishing related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and guide a team. * Strong skills in talent acquisition, including recruiting, selecting, and onboarding new employees. * Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. * Experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating employee performance and providing constructive feedback. * Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. * A solid understanding of implementing and enforcing organizational systems, policies, and procedures. * A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work processes effectively. * Experience in budget management, including tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures. * A focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring adherence to customer service standards. * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to implement new procedures and drive improvements. * A commitment to continuous self-development and staying current with best practices in supervision and management. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
