Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. * Support the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of daily restaurant functions. * Guarantee all menu items are prepared and served according to established recipes and training guidelines. * Maintain consistent speed of service standards throughout each shift. * Ensure a consistently clean and organized restaurant environment during all shifts. * Adhere to and enforce all food safety policies and procedures during each shift. * Create a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere for customers, maintaining a safe and clean environment. * Report on restaurant sales performance for each shift as required. * Achieve cost of goods sold, labor cost, and operating cost targets set by management for each shift.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Strong people management and conflict resolution skills. * A friendly and approachable personality. * Eagerness to learn and develop proficiency in various restaurant systems. * Experience in sales and sales management, inventory control, and marketing coordination. * Ability to engage in direct sales and customer interactions. * Capacity to learn effective problem-solving and conflict management techniques. * Ability to coordinate information between operations and headquarters. * Commitment to delivering and managing superior customer service. * Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with diverse customers, vendors, and colleagues. * Ability to provide weekly recruitment status updates to management. * Acquire a broad range of sales-related skills, including planning and conducting sales calls, identifying customer needs, and managing inventory systems. * Willingness to learn all aspects of the business, culture, and core values.
