Responsibilities and Duties

* Culinary Preparation: Prepare and plate meals by following recipes, including slicing, cutting, cooking (grilling, sautéing, roasting), and seasoning ingredients. * Quality & Standards: Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, including maintaining temperature and HACCP logs. Ensure all food items are properly dated, labeled, and rotated. * Team Leadership: Supervise a team to ensure kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy. Guide and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service and productivity. * Menu Development: Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus, and develop new menu items while improvising existing ones. * Kitchen Management: Maintain and manage kitchen expenses, food costs, inventory, and staffing within budgetary limits. * Customer Service: Address customer complaints and suggestions, resolving concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a culinary role, with the ability to cook North Indian food. * Strong knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, including HACCP. * Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively. * Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. * Ability to handle customer complaints and contribute to service quality improvement. * Willingness to work in shift work schedules.
