Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented culinary professional to join our team as a Sous Chef. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef/Head Chef, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. Your dedication and precision will be key in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Bring a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm to all aspects of the role and its responsibilities. * Support and diligently follow the guidance of the Executive Chef/Head Chef to execute tasks with accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. * Prepare all daily mise-en-place with efficiency and precision. * Accurately prepare meals and food items according to recipes, menu specifications, and expected quality standards. * Contribute to a productive kitchen environment by readily assisting fellow team members with their duties in addition to assigned tasks. * Ensure the efficient execution of daily kitchen activities, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities. * Strictly adhere to all standards for food hygiene, presentation, production, and portion control. * Monitor the preparation of food items to guarantee adherence to established recipes and specifications. * Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas. * Actively work to minimize food waste. * Ensure adequate stock levels in storage and promptly inform superiors when replenishment is needed. * Undertake other job-related tasks as they are assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
