Description
The Accounts Assistant will manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable, including data entry and processing of vendor invoices and staff claims. Responsibilities include verifying, matching, and checking invoices, liaising with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments, and issuing payments and cheques to vendors. The role requires attention to detail and hands-on involvement in month-end closing, ensuring timely payment processes. The Accounts Assistant will also support ad-hoc duties as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage full spectrum of Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices and staff claims, including data entry Verify, match, and check invoices for accuracy Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments Issue payments and cheques to vendors Ensure attention to detail in all tasks Assist in month-end closing procedures Ensure timely management of the payment process Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements
Possess a diploma/advanced diploma/higher diploma/graduate qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to perform well under pressure. Exhibits a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsible, adaptable, and capable of managing diverse tasks. Proficient in using Synergix software.
