Accounting / Finance Manager

Description

The Accounting / Finance Manager is responsible for managing the payment process for vendors, agent commissions, refunds, and other related transactions. The role also involves overseeing invoicing, monitoring, and collecting various fees such as instalment fees, hostel fees, and rental income. Additionally, the manager will ensure that all management report documents are prepared and available by month-end and year-end. Compliance with the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and student refunds in accordance with EduTrust requirements is also a key responsibility. The position may involve assisting with ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee the issuance and monitoring of payments for vendors, agent commissions, refunds, and other related transactions. Manage invoicing, monitoring, and collection of fees such as instalment fees, hostel fees, rental income, and more. Ensure all management report documents are prepared and available by the end of each month and year. Ensure compliance with EduTrust requirements for the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and student refunds. Provide support for any other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Preferably with several years of experience, particularly in a supervisory role.
