Description
The Human Resource Executive is responsible for managing and executing various HR functions, including recruitment, work pass processes, and employee welfare. Key duties include analyzing recruitment needs, implementing strategies to attract top talent, and ensuring compliance with work pass regulations. The role also involves managing employee benefits, administering Work Injury Compensation (WIC) claims, and coordinating training programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assess recruitment needs and develop effective strategies to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Manage work pass processes, including application, issuance, renewal, and cancellations. Organize security bonds and accommodation arrangements for both new and existing employees. Handle foreign embassy procedures, including visa and passport renewals. Coordinate repatriation for work pass holders. Ensure compliance with local employment laws and work-pass regulations. Oversee Work Injury Compensation (WIC) claims and facilitate special pass applications and cancellations for work-related injuries. Proficient in HRMS systems for efficient HR management. Administer the Primary Care Plan for work-pass employees and assist with employee medical benefits. Maintain accurate and organized personnel files and HR network folders. Support management in the annual appraisal process. Coordinate with training centers to schedule and organize training sessions. Assist with payroll administration tasks. Review and renew company insurance policies, licenses, and memberships. Contribute to the review and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in HR or a similar role. Strong understanding of work pass processes (application, renewal, cancellation) and local employment laws. Familiarity with foreign embassy procedures and visa/passport renewals. Experience in managing Work Injury Compensation (WIC) claims and related processes. Proficient in HRMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of payroll administration. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to contribute to policy reviews and process improvements. Experience in coordinating training programs is an advantage.
