Guest Relations Officer

Description

This position reports to the Duty Manager and is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and quality of service in the Front Office areas, including the Reception and Club Lounge.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Provide efficient and professional check-in/check-out services, adhering to established standards. * Ensure smooth operations across all Front Office sections. * Develop positive relationships with VIPs, Club guests, and return guests to understand their preferences regarding rooms, F&B, and other services. * Oversee Front Office operations during assigned shifts, including but not limited to: * Managing guest information * Compiling occupancy statistics * Supervising group bookings * Addressing guest complaints * Supervise cashiering activities during shifts, including but not limited to: * Cash handling and posting procedures * Managing irregular payments and refunds * Preparing cashier reports * Overseeing the cashiering system * Assist in supervising, training, and motivating team members to ensure they possess the knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively. * Capable of multi-tasking and taking on additional roles within other Front Office sections as required. * Perform any other tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both customers and colleagues. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills. * Solid supervisory skills with the ability to serve as a positive role model.
