Description
This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, including sales growth and profitability. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in planning and implementing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and managing the marketing budget.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Develop and implement marketing programs to achieve company business objectives. * Review and revise marketing programs to ensure optimal results. * Establish sales forecasts and promotion targets for each month. * Develop business plans, marketing strategies, marketing calendars, and new product development plans. * Develop attractive promotional campaigns to increase sales volume. * Create effective advertising programs in collaboration with advertising agencies, while managing the advertising budget. * Monitor sales performance, identify factors impacting sales, and recommend strategies to improve sales volume. * Conduct value analysis with the Purchasing and Finance teams to optimize the cost of goods sold and ensure competitive pricing. * Conduct competitor and pricing analysis to position products competitively. * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to proactively adapt marketing strategies. * Gather and analyze data on winning brands and market share. * Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing reports for senior management and the Operations team. * Analyze the performance of all marketing activities and report findings to senior management and the Operations team. * Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating funds across different media and promotional channels. * Monitor the marketing budget on a monthly basis. * Maintain strong working relationships with the Operations, Purchasing, and New Product Development teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans. * Collaborate with suppliers on joint promotions. * Manage relationships and marketing campaigns with key business partners. * Provide sales forecasts to the Purchasing department to support effective inventory management. * Identify stores with low sales performance and develop targeted promotional campaigns to improve results. * Develop grand opening programs for new stores to build brand awareness and drive customer traffic. * Support stores by providing all necessary marketing materials. * Liaise with suppliers to produce marketing materials and operational requirements. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. * Relevant experience in marketing, preferably within the relevant industry. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Budget management and financial analysis skills.
