Responsibilities and Duties
Lead and Supervise Sales Team: *Coordinate day-to-day activities of the sales team, including product marketing activations and campaigns. Support Talent Management: *Assist in recruiting, training, remunerating, and retaining competent sales personnel. Reporting: *Generate and submit reports to upper management including: *Sales performance reports *Lead generation updates *Customer complaints logs *New customer onboarding summaries Sales Tools & Presentations: Prepare engaging sales presentations and ensure teams have access to up-to-date sales tools. Client Communication: *Support the sales and management team in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and ensuring consistent feedback loops. Brand Visibility: *Initiate and execute strategies that enhance product visibility and market presence. Professional Role Modeling: *Serve as a mentor by modeling high standards of work ethic, professionalism, and integrity. Sales Administration: *Maintain accurate and organized records of sales leads, pricing, client activity, and other key metrics. Budget Oversight: *Monitor marketing-related expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Representation: *Represent the organization at trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events. Performance Monitoring: *Evaluate and improve the performance of the sales team through regular reviews and training initiatives. Market Analysis: *Track and report on current and emerging market trends to inform business strategy. Merchandising Oversight: *Ensure proper product display and branding across malls, supermarkets, and sales outlets.
Qualifications and Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. *Proven experience in sales and marketing with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. *Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and retain a high-performing sales team. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Skilled in closing sales and addressing post-purchase concerns. *Market-savvy with the ability to spot opportunities and potential partnerships. *Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. *Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. *Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
