Description
The Human Resource Assistant supports end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, and offers, while building strong internal and external partnerships. Key duties include managing HR databases, preparing employee documentation, coordinating programs like internships and job fairs, and organizing employee events. The role also involves benefits administration, compliance with policies, and generating HR reports, ensuring an efficient and engaging workplace environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews to conducting reference checks (when necessary) and extending job offers. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external sourcing channels to ensure timely and cost-effective hiring for all roles. Regularly evaluate and refine recruitment and sourcing strategies. Manage strategic initiatives, including graduate hiring programs, internships, job fairs, and similar events. Maintain and update internal databases with new hire information. Prepare and organize HR documentation for personnel files, ensuring all required records are complete and accurate. Generate reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as departmental hiring statistics. Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and terminations. Organize and coordinate employee events, including training sessions, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Ensure all HR and administrative activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, along with interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
