We are seeking a proactive and supportive Assistant Manager to work alongside our Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the outlet, driving exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing profitability across all functions. Your commitment to outstanding service and team leadership will be key to our success.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Maintain a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. * Lead and guide the restaurant team effectively. * Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant, including regular checks of tables and service stations. * Uphold rigorous standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the outlet. * Oversee the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance, and conduct of the service team. * Contribute to the implementation of strategies aimed at continuous revenue growth. * Assist in the development, training, and motivation of outlet staff. * Guide the team to consistently exceed service standards and achieve set goals. * Maintain a composed and organized approach when faced with demanding situations. * Assist with the procurement of necessary office supplies and ensure adequate stock levels. * Hold team members accountable for their performance and administer disciplinary action when required. * Take a forward-thinking approach to coaching and mentoring team members. * Undertake other related tasks as assigned by your direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. * Proven experience in leading and managing a team within a restaurant or hospitality environment. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-presented establishment. * Thorough knowledge of and adherence to high standards of hygiene and sanitation practices. * Ability to supervise and guide the performance, attendance, and professional conduct of a service team. * Experience in contributing to strategies aimed at increasing revenue and improving business outcomes. * A passion for developing and motivating staff through training and mentorship. * A proactive approach to exceeding service standards and achieving operational goals. * Ability to remain calm and organized while effectively managing stressful situations. * Experience with basic administrative tasks, such as assisting with ordering supplies. * Ability to hold team members accountable for performance and address performance issues constructively. * A proactive mindset towards coaching and supporting the development of team members. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
