Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop and prepare menu items according to established recipes or specific guidelines. * Ensure that all prepared food items are presented consistently and attractively. * Strive to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction through superior food quality and presentation. * Assist with daily kitchen preparation tasks and setting up workstations before service, maintaining the highest standards of food preparation. * Ensure all food stocks are stored correctly to maintain optimal freshness. * Place timely orders for necessary ingredients and supplies. * Support other kitchen team members during food assembly. * Possess a thorough understanding of standard procedures and guidelines related to food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation. * Strictly adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations. * Continuously seek to improve food quality based on customer feedback and specific dietary needs. * Maintain records and accounts of food purchases. * Keep the kitchen area clean, safe, and thoroughly sanitized. * Undertake other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in a Chef de Partie (CDP) role. * Excellent command of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, tools, and culinary processes. * Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. * Comfortable working in a warm and humid environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Capable of working both independently and under pressure. * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. * Availability for a 6-day work week.
