We're looking for a dynamic Culinary Operations Specialist to join our cafe team. This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about creating delicious food, contributing to menu innovation, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You'll be a key player in maintaining our cafe's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Menu Development and Execution: - Collaborate with Cafe Management to brainstorm and develop exciting new menu items. - Continuously evaluate and refresh the menu with innovative and appealing dishes. - Oversee and direct food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and quality. - Actively participate in all kitchen operations, from ingredient prep to final product presentation. - Operational Efficiency and Quality Control: - Minimize food waste and implement cost-effective practices. - Prepare ingredients efficiently, including chopping, peeling, and cutting. - Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation using the FIFO method. - Uphold the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. - Cafe Management and Compliance: - Assist in managing existing cafe operations. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum qualifications: Shatec/ITE or equivalent in a food and beverage related field, with a valid WSQ Food Safety & - ----- Hygiene Level 1 certificate. - At least 2 years of hands-on experience in food preparation and cafe operations, ideally with exposure to bakery/pastry, - Western, and Chinese cuisines. - A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and service. - Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - A positive attitude and pleasant personality. - Exceptional punctuality and a strong sense of discipline.
