Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Izakaya restaurant located in Tanjong Pagar. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and assisting our kitchen staff. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining a high standard of food preparation.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Cutting meat and vegetables according to specifications. * Preparing ingredients for cooking by skewering. * Providing assistance to kitchen staff with simple ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Must possess a valid Food Hygiene Certification. * Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently cut meat and vegetables according to instructions. * Experience or willingness to learn the technique of skewering ingredients for cooking. * A proactive and helpful attitude, with the ability to assist kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. * Must be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 5:30 pm. * A commitment to maintaining efficiency and contributing to a smooth kitchen operation. * Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively. * Must be eligible for CPF contributions. * Willingness to adhere to workplace policies and procedures.
