Description
As a Retail and Events Executive, you will ensure excellent customer experiences through attentive, personalized support across multiple channels, including in-person, phone, email, and chat. You’ll handle customer inquiries and complaints, maintain an inviting retail environment with fully stocked shelves, and manage P.O.S. transactions professionally. Your role involves proactively engaging with customers, upselling products, assisting in inventory management, and collaborating with the Retail & Events team to enhance the store's visual presentation. Key responsibilities also include managing online orders, updating product information, coordinating mail order processing, and addressing VIP feedback. You’ll ensure compliance with safe working practices and maintain confidentiality for VIPs while supporting promotions and events.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Address customer complaints and inquiries in-person, over the phone, via email, and through chat, ensuring prompt, empathetic service that centers on customer needs. * Provide personalized, knowledgeable, and proactive support to enhance customer satisfaction. * Ensure shelves are consistently stocked and products are readily available. * Professionally operate the P.O.S. system and handle cash and all payment methods, including local and foreign currencies. * Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels. * Engage proactively with customers, offering product recommendations and upselling items. * Maintain strong technical and product knowledge. * Consistently uphold performance standards and offer guidance when improvements are needed. * Implement and maintain visual guidelines to ensure a high standard of store presentation. * Adhere to safety practices and ensure a secure work environment. * Exercise discretion and confidentiality, especially for VIP clients. * Respond to online orders and inquiries promptly, keeping product information and inventory updated. * Oversee mail order processing to ensure a smooth experience for customers. * Address VIP feedback to continuously enhance the customer experience. * Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on all calls. * Stay informed on all store promotions and pop-up events. * Track and report defective or damaged goods to management promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years in retail or customer service. * Customer Service: Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handles complaints professionally. * Technical Skills: Proficient with P.O.S. systems and cash handling, including foreign currency. * Product Knowledge: Skilled in upselling and knowledgeable about store products. * Attention to Detail: Maintains visual standards and ensures products are well-stocked. * Inventory & Digital Management: Experience in inventory checks and online order processing. * Professionalism: Maintains discretion with VIPs and adheres to safety protocols. * Team Player: Works well with the Retail & Events team, including flexible hours for events
