Retail Manager

Description

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to help achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals by ensuring our company remains competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our sales team, developing sales strategies, and presenting these plans to upper management for approval.

Responsibilities and Duties

Drive growth and achieve sales targets by effectively managing the sales team. Continuously develop strategies to attract new potential clients. Coach and lead a team of sales representatives to enhance performance. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by addressing unmet client needs. Provide management with sales, revenue, expense reports, and accurate forecasts. Monitor market trends and assess the competitive landscape. Analyze and generate monthly strategy reports to boost sales. Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the director.

Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field. BA/MS degree in business administration or a related discipline. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders and business partners to drive sales growth. Ability to generate detailed monthly sales reports, conduct quarterly sales analysis, and propose business expansion strategies. Proven success as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently achieving or surpassing targets. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels. Experience in driving the sales process from planning to closing. Strong business acumen and industry knowledge. Exceptional mentoring, coaching, and people management abilities. Proficient in data analysis and report writing. Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Independently manage employee schedules and monthly rosters. Oversee staff assignments for basic duties like housekeeping, inventory management, and sales transactions. Analyze stock replenishment to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Conduct regular inventory checks and address discrepancies.
