Description
The Marketing Manager leads & oversees the Key Marketing functions of the hotel, restaurant, bar and social spaces. This includes managing the hotel and restaurant brand image, marketing communications, public relations and promotional campaigns. The Marketing Manager also oversees market research on brand awareness, market trends and target consumer landscape to develop successful marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role requires a very focused leader who understands hospitality sales, reservations, food & beverage trends, event planning & execution.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee all marketing activities for the hotel and restaurant. Take full responsibility for brand management and corporate identity. Collaborate with the General Manager and team to develop a Marketing & Events Plan that identifies key market niches and segments, focusing efforts on these areas. Create marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives and overall strategies. Generate data-driven insights and strategies to attract and acquire customers. Develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, and social media platforms. Identify areas for improvement and develop measures to enhance the effectiveness of future marketing campaigns. Utilize market and industry trends to drive promotional strategies for products and services to target customers. Manage the guest database and CRM, including customer history, spending patterns, and preferences. Work with the sales and F&B teams to identify and convert high-value revenue opportunities. Serve as the main on-site contact for the PR agency and manage PR efforts once the agency contract ends. Communicate marketing initiatives, manage the marketing calendar, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute plans. Ensure effective internal communication to keep all relevant teams informed about marketing goals and progress. Oversee the creation and publication of marketing materials, collateral, and online campaigns. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications and campaigns. Build and nurture local partnerships to expand the brand’s reach. Collaborate with the Sales team to: Develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients. Enhance the hotel’s brand awareness and reputation within the local community. Attend select market events to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel. Manage the marketing team, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development. Coach and motivate team members, managing performance to achieve success metrics. Be adaptable and take on additional duties and projects as needed to support the hotel’s overall business goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
A proven track record with at least 8 years of experience in brand marketing, advertising, and promotions within the hospitality, FMCG, or luxury industries. Commercially oriented, with the ability to analyze market data and drive results. Confident, dynamic, and engaging personality. Strong creative vision and innovative approach. In-depth local knowledge and a well-established network of contacts.
