Assistant Restaurant Manager

Description

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef in leading daily operations, ensuring service excellence, and driving team performance. You will be an integral part of maintaining our high standards of hospitality, operational efficiency, and team development in a fine-dining setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of service and guest experience *Supervise the front-of-house team, ensuring high standards of service, professionalism, and appearance *Uphold the restaurant’s hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance *Monitor guest satisfaction and handle service recovery with professionalism and tact *Assist in staff training, mentoring, and performance management *Lead by example, setting the tone for calm, organized leadership even during high-pressure service *Contribute to cost control and operational efficiency, including inventory and supply management *Assist in implementing strategies to drive revenue and optimize performance *Handle ad-hoc responsibilities and support the needs of the restaurant as required

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fine-dining or high-end restaurant *Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a front-of-house team *Exceptional communication and customer service skills *Ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and maintain attention to detail *Familiar with food hygiene, safety regulations, and fine-dining service etiquette *Possession of a valid Food & Hygiene certificate is an added advantage *Minimum qualification: GCE N / O Level or equivalent
