The Assistant HR Manager is instrumental in creating and maintaining a positive work culture, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. This role is vital in supporting the development and execution of HR initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and performance. By working closely with management and employees, the Assistant HR Manager contributes to the overall success of the company through effective HR management and the promotion of a collaborative, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, HRMS management, and Training & Development. * Advise management on employment issues, including labor laws, best local labor practices, and company manpower policies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. * Develop, implement, and review HR policies to align with company goals and legal standards. * Contribute to the creation and execution of HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives. * Address employee relations issues, including grievances and complaints, and provide counseling and guidance. * Maintain employee morale by fostering a positive working environment through effective leadership and teamwork. * Act as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A Degree in Human Resource Management or any related field. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HR functions. * In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. * Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities. * Proficient in MS Office and general HRIS. * Strong passion for working in a social service agency. * A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. * Experience in the Early Childhood sector is a plus.
