Chef(Seafood)

Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Seafood Cook to prepare a variety of delicious seafood dishes for our valued customers. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Chef, ensuring the quality and consistency of our seafood offerings while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your food presentation skills and contribute to our seafood recipe development.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and cook a diverse range of seafood dishes according to customer orders. * Assist the Head Chef in culinary operations and the creation of seafood recipes. * Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards for quality and consistency. * Monitor and maintain hygiene, food safety, and overall cleanliness within the restaurant. * Demonstrate proficiency in food presentation, seafood recipe knowledge, and various kitchen skills. * Manage and place orders for supplies, and control seafood costs effectively. * Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required. * Ability to perform effectively under pressure. * Proven ability to prepare and cook high-quality seafood dishes. * Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. * Possession of a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
