Description
This role is designed for a highly effective Sales Manager who will play a key part in achieving customer acquisition and revenue expansion goals by ensuring the organization remains competitive and forward-thinking. The primary focus will be on optimizing the sales team's performance, creating robust sales strategies, and presenting these strategies to senior leadership for approval and support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive growth and consistently meet or surpass sales objectives through effective sales team leadership. - Formulate and execute a strategic business plan aimed at broadening the organization's customer base and establishing a strong market presence. - Manage the hiring process, establish performance goals, provide coaching and mentorship, and monitor the performance of sales representatives. - Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers by understanding and addressing their specific requirements. - Implement innovative sales approaches and initiatives. - Deliver presentations to the leadership team that include reports on sales, revenue, and expenses, along with realistic sales projections. - Identify emerging markets and shifts in market dynamics while staying abreast of new product developments and competitor activities. - Discover opportunities and devise strategies to enhance sales revenue. - Perform other related duties as instructed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a comparable field. - A proven track record of success as a sales representative or sales manager, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding targets. - A dedication to continuous learning and professional development through workshops, seminars, and industry conferences. - Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and exert influence effectively at all levels within the organization. - A proven capacity to manage the sales cycle from initial planning stages to final closure. - Strong business understanding and expertise within the relevant industry. - Excellent skills in mentoring, coaching, and managing people. - Knowledge of data analysis techniques and report creation. - The ability to understand and comply with organizational policies and procedures. - The ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations. - Availability to work flexible hours, encompassing evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
