Restaurant Supervisor

Description

This role involves providing exceptional guest service and operational support within one of four dynamic restaurant concepts. The individual will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, ensuring smooth service flow, and contributing to a positive dining experience. They will also assist with staff training and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage and schedule restaurant reservations efficiently. * Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. * Recognize regular customers and communicate their preferences to the Restaurant Manager. * Ensure timely fulfillment of guest requests throughout the dining experience. * Document and promptly report all guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager. * Facilitate pre-service team briefings to ensure smooth operations. * Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring no outstanding bills and accounting for all voided items. * Promote the restaurant by cultivating a loyal customer base, maintaining a customer database, and providing personalized service. * Ensure that servers are knowledgeable about menu items, well-groomed, and providing efficient service. * Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance of restaurant furnishings and equipment. * Participate in monthly physical stock takes of restaurant inventory, including glassware, plates, and crockery. * Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing staff training programs. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
