Restaurant Operating Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to play a key role in ensuring the success and growth of our restaurants. This position focuses on supporting and guiding restaurant managers to optimize team performance, enhance the guest experience, and drive profitability. You will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence, upholding the highest standards of safety and hygiene, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support restaurant managers in effectively recruiting, hiring, and retaining team members to enhance productivity and the quality of the guest experience. * Assist the General Manager in managing food and labor costs to maximize restaurant profitability. * Oversee health and safety training requirements across all locations, ensuring full compliance with municipal regulations. * Drive improvements in performance and sales levels for all restaurants. * Implement and consistently review operational practices and procedures to enhance speed and service quality. * Create staff schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient service delivery. * Ensure that the strictest standards of sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness are consistently practiced by all team members in every restaurant.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a role supporting restaurant management or multi-unit operations, with a focus on improving team performance and guest experience. * Solid understanding of restaurant financial operations, including food and labor cost management and strategies for increasing profitability. * Experience in managing health and safety training programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. * A track record of successfully driving performance and sales improvements across multiple restaurant locations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate operational procedures and implement effective improvements. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage schedules and tasks efficiently. * A thorough understanding of and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness in a restaurant environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and support restaurant managers and team members. * A proactive and results-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. * Ability to travel to and support multiple restaurant locations as needed.
