Description
We are seeking a proactive and strategic individual to lead and optimize the daily operations of our restaurant. This role demands a leader who can cultivate a high-performing team, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities and Duties
* Craft and implement daily operational plans and objectives for the assigned area. * Supervise and monitor the performance of the operational team, ensuring compliance with daily procedures. * Optimize costs and controls to maximize restaurant profitability. * Manage and control restaurant inventories based on sales volume. * Oversee cash management, ensuring accuracy in cash floats, change, documentation, and collections. * Strategically plan and manage staff scheduling to maximize efficiency. * Develop and execute a comprehensive training system for all staff and management trainees. * Mentor and develop assistant managers, kitchen staff, and service personnel. * Conduct performance appraisals and create personal improvement plans for team members. * Lead team communication sessions and address disciplinary issues as needed. * Collaborate with kitchen operations to address service issues and enhance guest experiences. * Plan and forecast manpower needs, including long-term scheduling and hiring plans. * Execute marketing initiatives aligned with the restaurant's marketing plan. * Support recruitment efforts for all restaurant staff. * Maintain restaurant operating costs and profitability in alignment with company standards. * Monitor restaurant quality, service, cleanliness, and value. * Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and company guidelines. * Manage quality control activities, adhering to established standards and procedures. * Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed. * Ensure adherence to personal and food safety standards. * Cultivate strong relationships with landlords, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant management, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational procedures. * Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. * Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage costs and drive profitability. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute operational strategies. * A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. * The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
