Reservation Executive

Description

This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join a leading hospitality company as a Reservation Executive. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Reservations Department by handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the daily tasks of the Reservations Department, ensuring efficient and accurate reservation processing. * Utilize the Property Management System (PMS) to create, update, and manage room reservations effectively. * Ensure all reservation data is entered promptly and accurately, minimizing errors and discrepancies. * Encourage Reservations Agents to upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize hotel revenue. * Handle special requests from guests professionally and efficiently, assigning rooms that meet their needs and preferences. * Address booking issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. * Train new and existing team members on reservation procedures to maintain operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. * Manage group bookings in collaboration with the Sales Manager, ensuring smooth coordination and clear communication. * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism or a relevant equivalent qualification. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in a reservation or customer service role within the hospitality industry. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and superiors. * Basic knowledge of the Opera Cloud PMS or similar reservation management systems. * Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
