Description
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient team performance. This role demands a proactive leader who can balance customer satisfaction with operational excellence, driving both profitability and brand reputation.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate all daily activities for both front and back-of-house operations. * Deliver outstanding service and maximize customer satisfaction, creating memorable dining experiences. * Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolutions. * Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. * Evaluate product quality regularly and explore new vendor relationships. * Organize and supervise staff shifts, ensuring optimal coverage. * Manage restaurant profitability, monitoring and controlling operational costs, food costs, labor, and other expenses. * Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supplies for smooth operations. * Conduct staff performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback for improvement. * Forecast future needs for supplies, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. * Maintain a positive restaurant image and identify opportunities for enhancement. * Generate comprehensive reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and expenses. * Promote the restaurant brand within the local community through engaging initiatives. * Recommend strategies to broaden customer reach, such as targeted promotions and social media engagement. * Train employees on exemplary customer service practices. * Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure consistent restaurant operations. * Monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization. * Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and professional appearance. * Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. * Ensure the restaurant is in compliance with all licensing requirements and address any necessary repairs promptly. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the company.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry. * Strong supervisory skills, including accountability, organization, and planning. * Ability to manage costs and utilize resources effectively. * Proven ability to train, manage, motivate, and inspire a team. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to read and understand basic Chinese (due to the restaurant environment). * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment. * Flexibility to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays. * Customer-centric approach, service-oriented, responsible, and positive attitude.
