Assistant Restaurant Manager

Description

This position involves providing excellent service to restaurant guests, managing a team of servers, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll be responsible for taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Guest Service and Order Management: - Manage reservations and understand guest visit purposes. - Present menus, highlighting promotions, specials, and menu items. - Take food and beverage orders, confirming details with guests and providing estimated service times. - Use the Point-of-Sale system to accurately input orders. - Process payments and promptly verify bills. - Resolve issues related to cashier payments. - Team Supervision: - Supervise and guide a team of servers during your assigned shift. - Operational and Inventory Management: - Regularly and accurately check food and beverage inventory and stock levels. - Complete opening, operational, and closing procedures. - Assist the restaurant manager with planning and organizing special events. - Compliance and Problem Resolution: - Adhere to all hygiene and safety standards. - Follow company standard operating procedures. - Escalate customer complaints to the duty manager when service recovery is not possible. - Additional Duties: - Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
