Description

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and bathrooms by using cleaning equipment to sanitize and tidy up spaces. Duties include replacing bed linens and towels, replenishing toiletries and beverage sachets, and reporting room vacancy status. The Associate will also check for and report any damaged items or maintenance issues. Additionally, they handle and address guest concerns and feedback in a professional and respectful manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Use cleaning equipment to sanitize and tidy guest rooms and bathrooms. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the guest room. * Replace bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed. * Replenish toiletries, beverage sachets, and other guest supplies. * Report room vacancy status to ensure accurate room availability. * Check and report any damaged items or maintenance needs. * Handle and interact with guest concerns and feedback professionally and respectfully. * Ensure rooms are ready and functional for guests.

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred. * Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals used in room sanitization. * Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. * Ability to replace bed linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies efficiently. * Strong communication skills to interact with guests and report issues to management. * Ability to handle guest concerns and feedback professionally. * Ability to identify and report maintenance issues or damaged items. * Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift objects up to 55 pounds. * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
