Description
We are seeking a Retail Executive to support retail operations, including preparing meeting documents, managing the A&P calendar, organizing events, and overseeing soft services like cleaning and security. You will also coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensure lease compliance, manage tenant communications, and drive campaigns and social media efforts. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, managing budgets and accounts payable, and addressing tenant concerns to maintain positive relationships and high retention. Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare weekly and monthly meeting documents and minutes. Develop the A&P event calendar, including revenue and expenditure, while collaborating with the Placemaking team. Organize social events and meetings. Assist the Manager in overseeing soft services such as cleaning, security, landscaping, pest control, and parking. Regularly review areas for potential cost-saving measures without compromising quality, durability, or effectiveness. Set up a monitoring system to track repairs and replacements, ensuring timely updates and control of excessive occurrences. Conduct regular inspections with contractors (cleaning, pest control, fire protection, lifts, etc.) to ensure compliance with management standards and regulations. Recommend improvements, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring proper execution when approved. Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs. Foster positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and tenants. Organize regular tenant communication sessions for marketing updates and issue management. Ensure tenants comply with key lease covenants, including permitted use, operating hours, signage, POS connections, and sales data submissions. Drive campaigns and space activations. Manage social media platforms and websites. Prepare accurate, timely reports, including monthly performance and variance reports for senior management review. Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts for operating expenditures. Manage all property accounts payable, including invoice collection and approval. Address problems and concerns, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. Respond to tenant needs, maintaining positive relationships and high retention levels. Coordinate with tenants on repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills to build rapport with tenants, understand their needs, and resolve conflicts effectively. Customer-centric approach with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Experience in conflict management, negotiation, and finding win-win solutions is highly advantageous. Knowledge of operations, maintenance, fit-out practices, and relevant local regulations. Independent, innovative, proactive, and resourceful with high integrity. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders as a team player.
