Responsibilities and Duties

* Tile & Stone Work: Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and in odd spaces. Form tile beds and align tiles precisely using appropriate tools. Cut, install, polish, and surface granite and marble. * Surface Preparation: Prepare various surfaces for tiling using waterproofing material or lath, ensuring proper cleaning and foundation. * Design & Execution: Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying mosaic tiles. Follow blueprints precisely and measure surfaces accurately to plan jobs. * Quality Assurance: Carefully tap tiles into place to ensure proper adhesion without damage. * General Duties: Uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a Tiler or in a similar role. * Proven experience with power and hand tools for cutting and shaping materials. * Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors). * Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment. * Experience in carpentry and renovation is a plus.
