Assistant Restaurant Manager

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Italian restaurant. This full-time position requires a passionate individual to support the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to deliver a memorable dining experience. The role is based at either our Duxton Road or Upper East Coast Road location.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. * Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages. * Explain menu items and offer recommendations to enhance the guest experience. * Ensure the team maintains a clean and organized restaurant environment, including housekeeping, table settings, and general upkeep. * Collaborate effectively with the team to provide efficient and seamless service. * Demonstrate a positive and proactive work ethic. * Manage and lead a team of 4-8 service staff. * Provide ongoing in-house and on-the-job training to staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry. * A strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. * Ability to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. * Willingness to work additional hours during staff shortages or special events. * Proficiency in POS ordering systems. * Familiarity with Italian cuisine and beverages (a plus). * Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Outlet Executive position.
