Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to become a valued member of our team. The perfect candidate will bring a solid understanding of how to prepare both bread and pastry items. This role involves active participation in food preparation, adhering to the guidance of senior chefs, and ensuring all cooking stations are well-stocked. Maintaining exceptional food quality, managing baking supplies, and upholding strict hygiene and safety standards are crucial aspects of this position. Effective communication and a commitment to guest satisfaction are also highly valued.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Take charge of preparing food items according to established standards. * Adhere to the instructions and guidelines provided by the Sous Chef and/or Head Chef. * Ensure that all cooking stations have sufficient supplies readily available. * Maintain consistently high standards for food quality and presentation. * Oversee the inventory and supplies required for baking operations. * Ensure adherence to all legal regulations concerning hygiene and safety, while keeping the kitchen and related areas impeccably clean. * Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. * Work towards ensuring that all guest expectations for satisfaction are met. * Handle any other related tasks as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-moving work setting. * Possess good verbal communication abilities. * Proficient in the English language. * A minimum of one to two years of experience in the food and beverage industry. * Must hold a valid food hygiene certificate.
