Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop and design appealing menus for our dining establishment. * Calculate ingredient costs and work closely with suppliers to ensure optimal sourcing. * Lead and direct all kitchen operations, effectively managing kitchen personnel. * Supervise the preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes within the kitchen. * Delegate tasks efficiently and address any issues that may arise promptly. * Ensure strict adherence to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations. * Collaborate with the general manager to ensure seamless overall operations. * Verify that all ingredients are fresh and meet our stringent quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role. * Demonstrated ability in menu planning, cost management, and supplier relations. * Strong leadership skills with the capacity to effectively manage and motivate a kitchen team. * Thorough knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure. * Comprehensive understanding of hygiene, health, and safety regulations within a kitchen environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with management and staff. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients.
