Retail Supervisor / Team leader

Description

As a Retail Supervisor / Team Leader, you will lead a team of sales staff and photographers, driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include initiating guest interactions, achieving sales targets, performing rostering duties, and assisting the Site Manager with daily site operations. You will also ensure that visual merchandising and housekeeping meet company standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Engage with Guests: Proactively initiate interactions with customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service that aligns with the company’s high standards of hospitality and professionalism. * Lead and Motivate Team: Supervise, guide, and inspire a team of sales staff and photographers, fostering a collaborative environment to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. * Manage Staff Scheduling: Take responsibility for rostering duties, ensuring that shifts are efficiently planned to optimize staff availability and store performance. * Support Daily Operations: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily site operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and addressing any operational challenges promptly. * Maintain Visual Merchandising Standards: Ensure that the store’s visual merchandising, product displays, and overall store cleanliness adhere to company guidelines, creating an appealing shopping environment that enhances the customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of retail/frontline experience, with at least 1 year in a senior staff or supervisor role. * Availability to work weekends and public holidays. * Proven success in meeting sales targets. * Strong coaching and mentoring abilities. * Self-motivated, sales-driven, and confident. * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
