Restaurant Supervisor

Description

This role focuses on leading and supporting the service team, ensuring a positive guest experience, and maintaining operational efficiency within a restaurant. The Service Supervisor will oversee guest interactions, manage reservations, address complaints, and contribute to a clean and well-organized dining environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Greet guests warmly and coordinate their seating arrangements. * Recognize regular patrons and communicate their preferences to the Restaurant Manager. * Ensure guest requests are handled promptly throughout the dining experience. * Document and immediately report all guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager. * Conduct pre-service team briefings to ensure smooth service operations. * Ensure service staff are knowledgeable about menu items, well-groomed, and providing efficient service. * Ensure all transactions are processed accurately, with no outstanding bills and proper accounting for voided items. * Promote the restaurant by building a loyal customer base, maintaining a customer database, and providing personalized service. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of restaurant furnishings and equipment. * Participate in monthly physical stock takes of restaurant inventory, including glassware, plates, and crockery. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

* Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. * Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. * Experience in a restaurant service role is highly preferred. * Leadership abilities.
