Description

As a Guest Service Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key duties include managing check-ins and check-outs, verifying payments, and maintaining accurate records of transactions and guest-related items. You will assist guests with inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring their satisfaction. Additionally, you will support the Concierge with transportation arrangements, tourist and transport information, and occasional luggage or buggy assistance. Accurate system entry of folios and charges and facilitation of guest departures are essential. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Verify payment for stays, including incidental costs, by obtaining necessary credit information. Address guest issues and complaints with empathy, ensuring a focus on satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of messages, mail, packages, parcels, and other items for guest delivery. Accurately account for transactions and manage the cash float. Ensure that folios and charges are entered into the system and maintained properly. Assist with guest departures by providing accurate statements, ensuring satisfaction, and collecting all payments. Support the Concierge in arranging transportation for guests as needed. Help the Concierge manage guest inquiries about tourist and transport information for Sentosa and Singapore. Assist the Concierge with luggage handling or providing buggy services when required. Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards staff and guests. Good Interpersonal and Communications Skills. High level of interpersonal skills required. Customer service oriented. Good knowledge in resort and tourism. GCE ‘O’ levels and above Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of Front Office Operating System (HMS) would be an added advantage.
