Description

This position offers an opportunity to lead and optimize the operations of a newly established fine dining Chinese restaurant, working alongside an award-winning Chef. You'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences, fostering a positive team environment, and driving the restaurant's success.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Operational Leadership and Optimization: - Optimize restaurant performance, build a strong team, and maintain the restaurant's reputation. - Coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations. - Implement procedures to enhance efficiency and create a positive guest experience. - Team Management and Development: - Supervise team members and provide training and development plans to improve their skills and performance. - Conduct daily team meetings to improve efficiency, maintain cleanliness, ensure accurate order taking, and enhance customer service. - Maintain accurate attendance and overtime records for timely payroll processing. - Quality Control and Supplier Relations: - Assess product quality and build relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal standards. - Compliance and Safety: - Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations by conducting regular risk assessments. - Financial and Business Planning: - Control operational costs and implement waste reduction measures. - Generate detailed reports on revenues and expenses for performance analysis. - Participate in setting new budgets and business planning. - Marketing and Communication: - Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging social media content and increase brand awareness. - Additional Duties: - Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Education: - Degree or Certificate in Restaurant Management and Operations. - Experience: - Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in fine dining or modern Chinese cuisine, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Prior experience working in a restaurant pre-opening team is a plus. - Knowledge and Skills: - Strong knowledge of food (relevant cuisine) and beverage (e.g., wine pairing). - Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills. - Work Requirements: - Comfortable with flexible work hours, including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
