Description

The Marketing & Sales Manager develops and implements marketing and sales strategies to achieve company goals, overseeing advertising, promotions, digital marketing, and public relations. They drive sales performance, manage lead generation and conversion, and build strong relationships with customers and partners. The role involves conducting market research, analyzing data, and optimizing campaigns. They lead and mentor a sales and marketing team, manage the budget, and ensure ROI. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures consistent messaging and a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Strategic Planning & Execution: Create and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that align with company goals. Manage advertising, promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and public relations efforts to ensure successful outcomes. * Sales Management: Drive sales performance to meet revenue and growth objectives, establish and nurture relationships with customers, key accounts, and partners. Supervise lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes. * Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use sales and marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly. * Team Leadership & Development: Lead, inspire, and guide a team of sales and marketing professionals. Develop training programs, establish performance metrics, and provide opportunities for staff growth and development. * Budget Management: Develop and oversee the marketing and sales budget to maximize ROI. Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to ensure budget adherence. * Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate closely with product development, customer support, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging and deliver exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required; an MBA is a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years in marketing and sales, with 2-3 years in a managerial role preferred. * Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. * Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and campaign metrics to drive strategic decisions. * Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and build professional relationships. * Technical Proficiency: Experienced with CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, data analytics, and digital marketing practices. * Results-Oriented: Track record of meeting sales targets and delivering measurable results in marketing campaigns. * Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to create effective sales and marketing strategies that meet those needs.
