Ensuring food quality, addressing guest needs, training new staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting expansion initiatives are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Cultivate a team-focused approach with strong interpersonal and team management abilities. * Actively participate in the development of menus and maintain current and precise costing for all prepared and sold dishes. * Assist in the organization of kitchen inventory and ingredients, ensuring all food items are correctly dated and stored to maintain quality. * Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and management on supply procurement, cost control, kitchen efficiency, and staffing. * Ensure that all food preparation and presentation by the team strictly adhere to recipes and standard operating procedures, meeting the brand's appearance and quality benchmarks. * Proactively address and resolve any issues or complaints raised by guests. * Train new kitchen personnel on restaurant and kitchen protocols, leveraging informal moments to guide and mentor, and showing interest in their professional growth. * Ensure proper procedures for purchasing, receiving, and storing food within the kitchen, maintaining high standards throughout the receiving, storage, production, and presentation stages. * Uphold proper grooming and hygiene standards for all kitchen staff members. * Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and in good working order, in line with relevant regulations.
