Description
This position is for a Sales Manager tasked with driving the sales of analytical solutions. The role emphasizes achieving revenue goals through various avenues, including leveraging personal networks, generating new business prospects, and collaborating with strategic partners. The Sales Manager will oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement to final agreement, serving as the central contact for both clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will establish strong, mutually beneficial client relationships founded on trust and shared value, prioritizing profitable deals and developing a substantial pipeline of qualified leads
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet revenue targets by utilizing existing contacts, lead generation efforts, and partnerships with strategic alliances. - Manage the sales process from initial lead to contract completion, applying robust sales methodologies and expertise in the offered solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues and escalating concerns with clients and internal personnel. - Identify and target suitable clients, cultivate a strong pipeline of potential deals, secure profitable agreements, and manage sales activities to develop mutually advantageous and trust-based partnerships. - Generate and build client relationships that lead to the discovery of qualified sales opportunities, actively participating in all stages of the sales process, often initiating contact without prior client connections or identified opportunities. - Establish direct lines of communication with business owners and key decision-makers within large enterprise organizations. - Engage with senior management within client companies, effectively negotiating and influencing on important matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A demonstrated history of successfully leading and closing multi-year contracts. - Prior experience in selling cloud-based data warehousing or analytics/data science solutions is desirable. - The capacity to identify client challenges and develop persuasive value propositions that address specific client needs and produce measurable results. - The ability to provide solutions to complex business problems within the assigned area of responsibility, requiring a thorough understanding of organizational goals. - The ability to create and develop new business opportunities.
