Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

* Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow. * Lead, mentor, and train staff, assigning tasks and creating schedules while offering ongoing support. * Manage reservation systems, both phone and online, to optimize seating and guest flow. * Oversee order processing and ensure accurate and timely delivery to guests. * Relay any special dietary needs or order adjustments between the kitchen and serving staff. * Uphold exceptional customer service standards, crafting memorable dining experiences for every guest. * Address guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. * Provide detailed menu explanations and share the restaurant’s story with guests. * Suggest appropriate wine and beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience. * Update menu listings for both food and drinks as needed. * Track inventory and manage stock levels to prevent shortages. * Maximize beverage sales and improve profitability. * Ensure the restaurant maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field of study. * A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in a front-of-house management capacity or similar hospitality role. * Comprehensive knowledge of wine and beverage selections. * Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * A polished, professional appearance with a positive demeanor. * Availability to work a 5.5-day work week. * Medical benefits included.
