Reservation Officer (Tourism Industry)

Description

A company in the tourism sector is seeking a Reservation Officer. This role involves handling customer inquiries via phone and email, processing reservations, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with internal teams. The position offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, allowances, commission, and an annual bonus.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers, agents, and internal staff in a professional and courteous manner, following established organizational and departmental guidelines. * Meet performance targets related to call quality and efficiency. * Resolve customer issues by identifying underlying causes and implementing effective solutions. * Escalate complex customer service issues to supervisors or management when necessary. * Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address agent concerns and support agent retention efforts. * Work with the technical support team to assist with inquiries related to agent accounts or products. * Participate in required training and development activities. * Maintain strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies. * Process all reservations according to established procedures. * Ensure all work aligns with organizational standards and training, including accurate and complete documentation for various functions, such as transportation arrangements, guest preferences, booking add-ons, and payment information.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of a General Certificate of Education (N-Level) or equivalent qualification. * At least one year of customer service experience, preferably within a service-oriented industry. * Prior call center experience is a benefit. * Strong data entry and organizational skills. * Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime. * Proficiency in standard office software applications.
