Description
We're in search of a seasoned and exceptionally skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our high-end dining establishment. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing upscale restaurants with a focus on European, Mediterranean, Spanish, or French culinary traditions. This role demands a leader who can drive excellence in both service and operations, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage the restaurant's financial performance, aligning with monthly budgetary targets. * Analyze financial data to maximize profitability and identify areas for improvement. * Uphold rigorous quality control standards, encompassing staff grooming, conduct, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene across all areas. * Maintain accurate inventory and ensure all restaurant equipment is properly functioning. * Oversee and enforce the restaurant's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk management, and workplace safety, including food safety protocols and catering operations. * Train, mentor, and supervise service and kitchen staff. * Ensure all dishes and beverages are prepared and presented according to established standards, as directed by senior management. * Monitor and control food and beverage usage to minimize waste and spoilage. * Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including seasonal menus in collaboration with the head chef, and coordinate with the marketing team for approval. * Demonstrate strong leadership by setting a positive example and taking full ownership of the restaurant's success. * Manage and lead high-volume kitchen and service operations, including off-site catering events. * Undertake special projects as assigned by senior leadership. * Proactively engage in outreach to attract new clientele and boost restaurant revenue.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of three years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager. * Demonstrated success in managing restaurants specializing in European, Mediterranean, Spanish, or French cuisine. * Degree or relevant certification in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service. * Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
