Description
This role centers on curating exceptional dining experiences and ensuring the seamless operation of a vibrant culinary establishment. The Culinary Hospitality Manager will be the driving force behind creating a welcoming atmosphere, leading a team, and maintaining high standards of service and quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Team Leadership & Development: -Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide ongoing training and mentorship, empowering team members to excel in their roles. Manage scheduling and performance evaluations, ensuring optimal staffing levels and performance. -Address and resolve employee concerns, promoting a cohesive and supportive team dynamic. -Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain rigorous standards for food production, quality, and customer service. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established protocols. Proactively resolve operational challenges, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Monitor and manage inventory, minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization. -Financial Stewardship: -Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasting expenses and revenue. Analyze financial data to identify trends and implement cost-effective strategies. Monitor and control portion sizes and preparation quantities to optimize profitability. Ensure accurate transactions, and profitability of beverage area. -Menu & Ambiance Management: Collaborate with culinary staff to develop and refine menu offerings, considering market trends and customer preferences. Maintain a sophisticated and inviting ambiance through careful attention to lighting, music, and decor. Ensure meticulous presentation of food and beverages, enhancing the overall dining experience. -Marketing & Public Relations: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the establishment and attract new customers. Cultivate relationships with local businesses and media outlets to enhance brand visibility. Organize and promote special events to increase customer engagement. -Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patrons, implementing emergency preparedness plans. Maintain compliance with all applicable legal regulations, including those related to alcoholic beverage service. -Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development. Seek out opportunities to enhance the establishment's reputation and provide exceptional value to customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
-Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or culinary industry. -Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management. -Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and customers. -Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively. -A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. -Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations. -Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
